CK Talent Finalizes Deal with Acclaimed  Vogue Fashion Designer Zang Toi 

To Join WWII Feature Film “The Butterfly Keeper”


London, United Kingdom – CK Talent Management proudly announces the successful negotiation and finalization of a deal on behalf of its clients, Guy Mayfield (Producer) and founder of Dallerby Productions and David John Jeffery (Producer) founder of Invisible Sword Productions, to bring on board visionary and Iconic Vogue designer Zang Toi as head costume designer for the highly anticipated feature film, “The Butterfly Keeper”. Toi whose designs have been worn by Eva Langouria, Elizabeth Taylor, Meg Ryan, Sharon Stone and Fergie (Blackeyed Peas). Members of the first family have been regulars at his NYFW shows including Donald Trump Jr., Ivana Trump, Tiffany Trump and Marla Maples Trump. Toi was one of the first Asian designers to have an editorial feature by Vogue Editor-in-Chief Ana Wintour in her magazine. 


Based on a gripping true story, The Butterfly Keeper delves into a secret mission during World War II and reveals a compelling narrative about the mysterious death of Benito Mussolini. This historical drama promises to unveil new perspectives on one of history's most debated events, combining intrigue, espionage, and human courage.


The film is set to be helmed by Guy Mayfield, an acclaimed Producer known for his masterful storytelling and captivating visual style. David Jeffery, as with a track record putting together critically acclaimed projects, will Assistant Direct the film. Their collaboration marks a powerful creative union poised to bring this historical tale to life.


Famed designer Zang Toi has been brought on as head costume designer to ensure authenticity and historical accuracy of the period's designs. Zang’s will work to meticulously recreate the wartime period, transporting audiences to the 1940s with remarkable detail and accuracy.

With this role, Zang joins the ranks of the fashion industry’s most influential designers who have lent their visionary aesthetics to Hollywood, including Jean Paul Gaultier (The Fifth Element), Tom Ford (A Single Man), and Giorgio Armani (The Untouchables). Renowned for his timeless elegance and dramatic couture, Toi’s involvement is set to elevate The Butterfly Keeper with his signature style and meticulous attention to historical authenticity

The Butterfly Keeper is slated to begin production in 2026-2027. The film is expected to resonate with audiences worldwide, offering a unique insight into WWII history and the enigmatic circumstances surrounding Mussolini's demise and is based on Mayfield’s grandfather secret mission for the Secret Intelligence Service (MI6) and his role in Mussolini's demise.
