SAG Award-winning Actor Will Roberts Joins Cast of The Way Love Speaks
London, United Kingdom — Award-winning actor Will Roberts has joined the cast of the upcoming drama The Way Love Speaks, a heartfelt film that explores a couple’s emotional journey after their child is diagnosed with autism. Roberts will portray Jack Reed, the father of the lead character Blake Reed, played by actor Joe Barra. Barra will portray the father of the autistic child, bringing emotional depth to this pivotal role.
Joining the cast is actor Aaron Deakins, who stars alongside Will Poulter, Kit Connor, and Joseph Quinn in Alex Garland's latest film Warfare from A24 studios, which will be released in theaters soon. Deakins has been cast as Donald Reed, Will's other son and brother to Joe Barra's character, Blake Reed.

Actor Lamin Tamba has also been cast in the film to play Abe Njaay. Tamba is best known for his appearances in Star Wars, where he shared several scenes with Princess Leia played by the iconic actress Carrie Fisher. He also was in Edge of Tomorrow alongside Tom Cruise, in Legend of Tarzan with Alex Skarsgard and in Doolittle with Robert Downey Jr.
Joe Barra recently appeared in the holiday hit A Soldier from Christmas, which was successfully released in theaters. He also plays Tim in Legend of the White Dragon, which is currently in post-production.
Will Roberts is a SAG Award-winning actor best known for his portrayal of General George C. Marshall in the Oscar-winning film Oppenheimer. In addition to his extensive film credits, Roberts currently stars as Dennis in the Amazon Studios project The Studio.
The Way Love Speaks will be directed by award-winning director Randy Dies through Silverwing Studios. The film promises to deliver a powerful and emotional narrative about family, love, and resilience. Production is currently underway, with more details set to be announced soon.
